The Institute of Geosciences of the University of Panama reported a magnitude 5.9 earthquake this Saturday, February 28, with its epicenter in Bocas del Toro. According to the preliminary report, the depth was 10 kilometers and it was located 43 kilometers east of Bocas del Toro. The institute reported that the movement was recorded at 12:11:56 p.m. So far, no damage or casualties have been reported.
